"Dis Da Best Kiss-mas Evah"

Lily Mei loved everything Christmas this year! Whenever she would see something dealing with Christmas, she would get so excited and say "Dis da best Kissmas evah". On Tuesday night, we went on a "fun family outing" to our favorite Chinese restaurant and then we rode through the Botanical Gardens to see the Christmas lights.
On Christmas Eve, we went to Aunt Rita's house to eat lunch and open presents. Lily Mei had a great time playing with Hannah Grace and Aunt "Ree Ree". Then on Christmas morning, we opened presents that Santa had left and had a late breakfast. Lily Mei got a new baby and stroller and baby bed, a cash register, barbies, and some movies.
David went to Build-A-Bear and made Lily Mei an Army Panda. He recorded his voice so when he goes back to Texas, she can push a button and hear "Dah loves you". She loves it!
Friday night, we went to Granny's house for supper and more gifts! Lily Mei got a new castle and carriage and Barbie car. Also on Friday, Jake came to visit his grandparents. Jake and our boys have been friends since they were in elementary school. We were so glad to see him!
On Saturday, Auntie, Nunk and Joy came with more presents and food! Lily Mei got twin babies, a singing bear and a Leap Frog toy that helps her learn her letters.

The boys got lots of money from everyone and some new clothes. Steve got some new tools and flashlights. And as for me, I got the best gift of all: All my babies at home, the sound of video games and laughter coming from upstairs, fun family outings and having meals all together. This truly was "da best Kissmas evah".
