The Princess is Two!!

Happy Birthday, Lily Mei!

We had a very small birthday party for Lily Mei on Sunday. Since she was so overwhelmed at Christmas, we decided to keep it very low key. Our dear friends, Tim and Tina, Becky and Jeff, and the Ogles came, as well as my Auntie, Nunk and Jo! Lily Mei had a great time playing with Paul William and getting even more new toys and clothes. Thank you all for coming!

Happy Happy Birthday, our beautiful Chinese Princess. We love you more than you will ever know!

Oh man, she is growing up! Now we are both the mother's of two year olds! Put some phone books on her head! I love her clothes and that doll! I had to watch the show twice! You are a good and sensitive mom to notice the kind of party she needs. I heard a rule was one guest for every year but Britton had 50 people for her 1st. She spent the day on my hip and it worked out. I hope I didn't damage her for life, heehee (we were a little more carefeul after that)

Happy Birthday Lily Mei,
My parents went low key too, I think I would've been too confused with tons of people in the house all staring at me. I'm glad you had fun and are now officially two years old.
Hugs,
Your buddy Acer

Hi (Again!) I just saw you comment and had to tell you (or spill my concern) About Bailey's room. She doesnt' really have one and it drives me crazy! She will share with Britton which will be great for her and Britt really wants her to but that is a 14 years old's room. She has a king size bed in there so all her girl friends can pile in on all her spend the nights which is every weekend. I plan to have a toddler bed in my room so she can be in there and bond to me and daddy at first. Heather says 6 months will do it and then she can be in 'her' room with Britton after that and come in with us on slumber party nights. Or if that disrupts her, maybe Britton and her friend can sleep in the guest room downstairs on those nights. I don't give that to Bailey because I don't want any of the kids down stairs yet and I still need that room for our parents who visit etc. But I plan to probably make that into a play room so all of her things are not crowding up the girls room. So you see my problem? I don't have an easy fix for anything. I think and am hoping that when she gets here, things will jsut fall into place. The toys will find where they want to go etc. And Bailey will work out where she wants to sleep. (I will see where the healthiest place for her to sleep is and that will be the thing that wins. And B-man can always move dowstairs in a year or two. (The thought of drums and all his boy stuff right next to the living room gives me shivers but hey, I will do what I have to. He goes off to college in 3 years anyway. But I want him to have his room available unitl he is married. He is the type that could very well come move back home a few timers before he is really out! Anyway, thanks for listening to this ramble. I am thinking out loud. Do you have any insights!??
You seem to have worked everthing out perfectly! talk soon, s
