Three Teens and a Toddler!

OK, I admit it...I begged and pleaded and even used bribery (new shoes for everyone!!), but I finally pursuaded the boys and Jake to go with us to the pumpkin patch. I assured them we would get there as soon as it opened, find a pumpkin, pet a bunny and be out of there before the crowd hit. So they reluctantly agreed and we loaded up the Tahoe and headed out. An hour later, we arrived at the pumpkin patch and there was already about 100 cars in the parking lot! Oh the looks on my boys faces were PRICELESS!!! They immediately began saying they were not going in! I have never laughed so hard in my life!! But, good ol' Jake was game and he convinced them to go! We had a great time! We didn't do the hayride, so we missed out on picking a pumpkin, but we did pick some cotton and Lily Mei loved petting all the farm animals! I know the boys would never admit it, but I think they actually had a good time! Another Fun Carter Family Outing!!!

Now that she picked some cotton, she must be a true Southern Bell! What a great memory and probabl a start to a new tradition for Lily Mei. She will talk her boys into going for many years to come, I'll bet!
PS I am pRAYing for TIna's baby to be on this waiting list today!!

That is hilarious!!! We are heading to the pumpkin patch in Hayden tomorrow morning. I think you should have dressed the boys and Lily Mei alike!! lol. They were such troopers to go along. My older ones readily agreed to go, but of course that just means "no school" for them!

Great pictures and glad you were able to get the whole family in on the fun!

Lily Mei should be receiving a square in the mail from Laney any day now.

Loved Lily Mei's Happy bird-ay song for Waney! I would love to hear her sing it. I'll bet it's too cute. :-)

Love,
Angela
