Pray for Our Troops.....Especially Mine...

The day I have dreaded for the past 2-1/2 years has finally arrived and in the wee hours of the morning my precious boy will be boarding a plane headed for Iraq. Steve and I thank you for your support and prayers for David and our family. This is going to be a long 14 months, but with friends and family like you and the grace of our Lord, I know we will get through it. Due to confidentiality issues with David's job, I will not be able to post updates on Facebook or public message boards. I will, however, be able to post updates here on the blog. Also, if you would like David's address, please leave a comment and I will be glad to send it to you.

Again, we thank you all for your love and support for us during this time. I will do my best to keep you all updated how he is doing while overseas. May God bless you and our troops today and always.

Love and blessings,
Steve, Monica, Landon and Lily Mei

PS-Please keep my dear friend, Daleea, in your thoughts and prayers as well. Her husband was critically injured in an explosion at his job on Friday and is in the burn unit of an Augusta, GA hospital. Daleea and Jeremy have two children and have been working hard for the past several months to raise the funds to bring home another China angel. Jeremy is the sole provider and Daleea is a stay-at-home mom. Here is their blog: http://jewels-of-my-heart.blogspot.com/ Thank you all so much!
