Liangping Orphanage Donation

**Update!! We did it!!! We raised $1150 for Liangping!! They are getting that washing machine and a whole bunch of milk for those sweet babies! Thank you all for you donations!! YIPPEE!!!! We have asked Love Without Boundaries to send pictures of the washing machine when they get it to the orphanage. I will post them as soon as we get them!!**

Our Liangping Orphanage yahoo group is kicking off our annual fundraiser for the Liangping Social Welfare Institute. As many of you know, this is the orphanage where Lily Mei spent the first 17 months of her life. This year the orphanage has requested an industrial-size washing machine to help reduce the time and cost of doing laundry. We are once again working with Love Without Boundaries, who will receive the donations and ensure the orphanage gets the washing machine.

As the holidays are approaching, many of you are looking for ways to help those precious children who are still waiting on their forever families. We humbly ask that you consider giving a small, tax-deductible donation to help us meet our goal. Please visit this website: http://projectliangping.wordpress.com/ to learn more about the orphanage and how you can help.

Thank you and God Bless you all!

That sounds like a great way to get the money for the washing machine. Every year for my folks, we donate to something--LWB was last year's, and I'll send in there donation for your project.

Hey--about the build a bear--it would be a perfect present from Dah to Lily Mei if he can get to a BABW. I don't have any idea if he's near a big mall that might have those, for one day when he's got some leave. :)

I just love what adoptive families do for the children left behind.

I mailed David a card this morning, thinking the holidays are coming. I will try to send something to him often. How long will he be there?
