Ahhhh.....Fall!! We have been enjoying beautiful weather and lots of time outside! My Auntie made this beautiful wreath for our front door. To see more of her creations, go here.
Things are going well at the Carter house this week. We had a nice visit with our friends, Judy and Patrick, on Thursday night. Please remember Judy in your prayers. They did find a few cancer cells in one lymph node. She goes to the oncologist today to find out what treatment plan they will start.
Lily Mei went to Lily Grace Green's birthday party on Saturday. She wasn't too excited about the big inflatables, but she loved the cake and goody bag! Thanks Lily Grace for inviting us!
OH and we got to talk to David Three Times over the weekend! He is doing great, got his sharp-shooter badge this week, and was making us all laugh with his drill sargeant stories. One month from today and we'll get to see him! HOORAY!! I still can't believe he won't be home for his birthday this Saturday...ugh!

Lottie LOVES birthday parties, I think she would go to anyone's party even if she didn't know them! lol
So glad to hear that you got to speak to your son THREE times! Praise God. For some reason, I thought he was coming home for the weekend, which I found strange...go figure. heh.

I am glad that David is kinda having fun at Basic now!! I have such fond memories after those first few days! Our Drill Sergeants even laughed after the first few "tough" weeks on us!!
What a bummer, not home for his birthday. Would he have been here without that delay in starting basic?
YOu take such nice pictures, Mine are goofy. Sigh. I am SLOWLY getting better, just not fast enough for me.
