After a three week delay due to a paperwork issue, David has finally moved on and is able to start Basic Training. He only had a minute to talk and give me his mailing address. If anyone would like to send him an encouraging note, please email me at: sc19045@charter.net
He sounded good and is so ready to get this part behind him! Thank you all for you continued thoughts and prayers. We miss David terribly, but are so very proud of him!!

Finally got a chance to stop by. LOVE Thos cheeks on your little one. And I am glad to hear the good news about your son. You are one brave mommy. I am not sure I could handle my "baby" going away, and then not talking to him for so long. I pray all goes well and time flies!! :)

I haven't checked your blog in a while, but now I can pray for you. Becky had said David was coming to Fort Jackson, but I didn't know when. We are only 40 minutes away. Maybe Ellie will be home when you come see David and we can meet you somewhere.
