Wow! We've had a pretty busy and fun week. It started off Sunday with a visit from our Auntie, Nunk and Joy. They always bring Lily surprises in gift bags and Nunkle (my uncle) hides princess snacks in the bib of his overalls! When you ask Lily what Auntie brings her, her face lights up and she says "sacks". This week, she got a beautiful new dress and puppy that talks!
Monday, we went to playgroup with some of our Athens FCC buddies. Lily had a great time playing with Brooklynn, Bonnie, Emma Fu, Gracie Mei and the Woodall four. We are going to try to make this a weekly or every-other-week event! Lily had so much fun!!
Tuesday was our first day of Kindermusik. It's a music/dance class for babies 18 mths to 3 years and their mommies. We had six new friends in our first class. The first few songs were about trains and Lily HATES trains, so it took her a little while to get warmed up. But, by the end of the class she was dancing around the carpet and crawling on the floor making her "car" sounds! We will go every Tuesday morning for a 45 minute class. I've read that this class helps with language development and motor skills. Although, Lily is doing great with her talking (she's now putting two words together), I thought it couldn't hurt for a little extra reinforcement and she just loves to sing and dance!!
Wednesday, we had SNOW!! OK, just flurries, but still it was snow! Now I know for some of you that might not be a big deal, but for us here in North Alabama, it was HUGE!! We got our coats and boots on and went out to play. Lily was a little unsure of the snow at first, but I finally got her to hold her hands out and feel the flakes. I think she was more excited about getting to wear her new coat and boots!! The girl is all about fashion! They're saying we might get more this weekend, so stay tuned...
So, that's the update from the Carters this week. We hope you all had a great week! Thanks for checking in!

Great to hear about your week!! Glad you guys enjoyed Kindermusik. Sophie and I did it when she was little. I haven't done it since. It is a good program. I don't think I could do it with two kiddos (Sadie AND Silas).
We were SO excited too about the snow. I just hate that we don't ever really get much accumulation. I would LOVE to get one good snow. We're holding out hope for tonight and tomorrow!! :)
Have another good week!!!
Love ya,
Buffi
Oh my goodness that picture of her sticking her tongue out is adorable! Sounds like yall had a very blessed week! Here's to more snow!

I love those last two pictures the best.
And that green sweater is precious! Love that.
First I love her coat! SO pretty...
Sounds like a fun week.
Thank you for all of your sweet comments on the blog. I actually just started loving photography seriously with the blog and am learning, half the time I have no clue what I am doing :) just using tips I pick up from other photographers. The canon rebel xti and a couple of nice lens have been the key for me.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my blog. Your little Lily is absolutely precious. We are praying for snow tonight. It didn't reach us on Wednesday, but the forecast shows we should get something tonight. I love the photo with her tongue sticking out.
How cute!! Mya loves snow--we get just a smidge up here ;) It's great in small doses. Your Lily is just too cute. Love the jacket!
Oh my gosh how beautiful is your daughter??????
I had to come visit again. the Blog is so pretty. My son is trying to do something with mine but so far it is kind of crazy looking. He can't figure out how to get the background on. But he was so sweet to do all this for me while I was out shopping. I don't think he had it in him to choose pinks, ribbons and flowers!! I know he must be gagging but i think he is doing it for Bailey. Since he is so anti about that issue, this makes me get a little hope (and tears)If you know how to tell him how to get the background on, let me know. I know I don't remember how to tell someone how to set up a blog! I also think there are probably a few ways. I don't know how anybody does all this computer stuff!! Anyway, Thanks for that advice about the tea set. I will put it on a higher shelf for now!! But great dreams! (What would I do with out you to blab to???)
Your blog looks great!
Drop me an email so I can invite you to view our blog.
Love the new header!!! And look how excited Lili Mei is in her very cute coat!! She is just adorable. Whenever I get Maxine home and whenever we get to come visit family, I hope we can join you at the Athens playground.

Fingers Crossed for our referral soon.
Monica, You are the Blog fairy for us! Thank you! Barrington just took off on his scateboard to get a break. he is having a time of it sizing the header. And he says, "forget it mom" to changing Bai Li to Bailey. Boy would I love to know how to do all that myself. But I look at all those little numbers and letters and get a head ache! He finally figured out how to take your glitter off our boarders (Britton was heartbroken, she loved that stuff!!) I love Lily mei's pink coat. If I wasn't so glad she is the same age as Bailey, I would wish she was older so I could beg some handmedowns!! You have excellent taste in baby girl clothes! It must be that souther in you! PS Do you know you can take that weird letter box off your comments in Templates, i think. Let me know if you want them off and I will give instrucs. I owe you bog time.
Lily Mei,
Acer thinks you've had a much more fun week than he has, and Kindermusik, well... He's trying to talk me into it.
Hope you get more snow, Acer thinks playing in the snow is pretty cool, cold even and likes it despite the torture of wearing mittens.

Here I am hogging up your comment section again. But Iwanted to thank you for your prayers. She could really use them. Thanks for always being there!! It is amazing how blog friends are so REAL! and can be more there than your neighbor sometimes!! Hope you have a great week!!

Love the pictures. I also love the look of your blog. Very pretty for a beautiful princess.
Sounds like you all have been having TOO much fun! I've heard nothing but great things about Kindermusik - funny about the train songs, though.
Love Lily's coat - she is just adorable.
Dear Monica,
I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate all your words of comfort, etc etc! She is going to get through this and I think God will use it for his glory somehow. Don't you think? Did you read that '90 min in heaven'? That poor guy really had to go through it with his recovery. I have got to get back to thinking Pink again! I can't takethis anymore! LOL I will have my 2-3 daily phone calls and then be happy. What do you think?
God bless your gynormous heart!!
