What is a log-in date? Well, a Log-In Date, or LID, is the day when the CCAA (China Adoption people) officially received all our paperwork. I just received an email from Mrs. Pat and she found out yesterday that our LID is February 7th. Is this a good thing? Oh Yeah! This is great! This means that they received our paperwork before they closed for Chinese New Year. This means it is not sitting on someone's desk with about a million other dossiers. This means that the right person has our file and they should be working diligently to get our confirmation letter in the mail. Then when they get our letter back (after we sign it, of course) they will give us Travel Approval (TA) and Mrs. Pat will request a Consulate Appointment (CA). When we get this appointment, we get travel dates and we're off and running (well, flying...but you know what I mean!) Hang on Lily Mei! Momma's coming!!
